I think OPs point is that it is now frustrating to no end trying to make reservations at campgrounds.

Gone are the days of just hitching up and moving wherever the wind blows, secure that a campsite could always be had.
    AMEN to that!!!

FYI... that "vintage" Rolls, unless a very special car, is probably worth 25-50% of what most of us paid for our trucks. I've had a few. Cheap to buy, horrendously expensive to maintain ! Sold my 1970 Silver Shadow, nice car, for $12000. Sold my 1992 Bentley ' ultra low miles, garage kept pin of a car for $20,000. That's Canadian dollars... All is not as it appears!

Wait until you see a car hauler w/lift inside. One had a perfect '57 chevy with a cobra above it! One had a new Corvette and Harley with a pair of side by sides up top.

I saw a pop up being towed “popped up” the other day into the campground. The front bed was pushed in for hitch clearance. I hope they were just changing sites and not driving down the interstate. Lol.

About a year ago I saw a Westfalia van driving down the interstate with the top up. 65 mph, not a care in the world.
