If you opt for the power model, make sure that you get the newest version. My 2021 310GK came with the "older" version. There is no release for the gear mechanism if there is no power. So....if your battery is dead you can't easily get the power cord off of the reel. The new version has some type of release button to allow it to free wheel. Very stupid design.

Just curious if you have to unroll the whole thing when using the cord. That would seem a bit unwieldy. Or does the cord stay on the reel and you only unroll as much as you need?
