My GD manual says repack annually or as needed. The Dexter manual says every 12 months or 12,000 miles.

I repacked mine at 13 months and 9,200 miles. I don't think you really need to repack yours. Mine we perfectly fine and had no issues.

Others have the same mind set not trusting how well done from the factory. This is my second trailer and waited until the start of the second full camping season. Bought our GD in Oct 2019 and repacked Feb 2021. If it will give you peace of mind, I say go for it. Also, do you have a TPMS?

For what its worth, prior to 1997 most autos and small trucks had wheel bearing similiar, if not identical, to those on current RVs. For those vehicles the typical recommended frequency for wheel bearing repacking was every 30,000 miles and every other year.

Newer autos and small trucks come with long life presealed bearing that can last up to 80,000 miles.
