    Question 6 volt battery water fill caps with a side lever connected

    I have 6 volt batteries with a side lever connected to the water fill caps how do you remove the caps?

    There should be what looks like a handle. Flip them and the whole thing should pull right up.

    the middle cap has plastic wings attached to it with a plastic bar connecting to the other two caps with the bar screwed into the caps and a side bar connected to the original bar. no apparant handle availabel

    I just needed to remove the battery cable so lever could move all the way and then caps came off easilly
