    Passenger Side Baggage Door Hinge Scratches

    I have a 5 month old 310GK with full body paint. Is anyone (with or without FBP) getting scratch marks with their baggage "hinge". This is the door the hinges up and is held up with the magnets on the side of the trailer.

    The "hinge" of the baggage door is a piece of curved metal that rotates around another curved piece of metal. It seems like ALL these doors should be having this problem.

    These are the scratches after cleaning with alcohol.

    I wrapped the area that rubs with clear 3M tape used for car door handle cup areas.

    Here is the left side that also had scratches. It is now cleaned up and the clear tape applied.
