Front cap is even easier. Just use that dimmer from Amazon. The switch is on the water panel.

So this means the dimmers that I had on my 2017 29RS won’t work on my 2021 311bhs because of the one controller?
    Thanks

I am willing to bet they work as long as you put them after the control. These are true PWM (Pulse Width Modulated) switches.

These are the ones that I replaced the toggle switches in control box. Purchased the plastic covers from the guy in Texas. They turn to dim lights.
Would they be after the one controller?
I’ll look for the link where I purchased them on Amazon
    Thanks

I believe they will work. I don’t have the One Control. Like you, I replaced the regular toggle switch with these. I would assume that if you put the switch before the One Control that would make for inconsistent behavior or just not working with One Control. If you put it after One Control, it still has factory function and the secondary switch gives you added utility outside One Control.

In reality, I do not know how it will behave as I am just going by experience. I hope some people who have tried it can chime in.

    Well,
I will replace the awning switch and see how the system reacts
    Thanks for your advice

They will only work if installed after the one control.

Has anyone used dimmers with one controller?
I have the ones that worked in my 2017 29RS, they won’t work on 2021 311BHS, I tried to wire up the same way I did before. The lights won’t work.
Main living room , and the awning lights.
    Thanks

Here is my post from early in this group, I found this worked great:
I had the same problem, on the 2021 GD the standard dimmer switch that you find on youtube and Amazon will not work. You need a PVM switch, here is link to the one we purchased for our GD Reflection 297RSTS TT. We taped into the wire on the first LED near the bedroom (Front of the Trailer) this is where the first LED wiring starts. Spliced this wireless switch in line and it worked perfectly. Now we have a wireless dimmer for our living room. I have not done this for the awning yet, next project

Yes I have awning and living room lights dimmable. The dimmer must be installed after the one control. For living room I pulled the puck light in hall to put dimmer in. For awning you have to find one control panel then install.
