Westlake blowout

Yesterday on our way home from Prescott, AZ our right rear tire blew. WESTLAKE 235/r80 16. TPM monitor showed no issues until the blow. Now I want to replace the whole set. Any suggestions? 2020 GD Solitude 344GK.

Goodyear G614s. With Sailuns having high failure after switching primary production out of the China plant, the only "known" element are these. Tires are outrageous in price right now too. There are some newer options out there, but too new to determine if they're good or bad.

What @geotex1 said. We have Sailuns on our rig, but they were made in China before the switch to the Vietnam plant when the issues started.

Check and see if Goodyear Endurance made in USA comes in your size.

The Endurance tires are only load range E. The OP needs load range G or H on his 344GK.

Well, if you are looking for a 16 inch tire you are lucky. Because you can buy the best with Mitchelin in that size. Best RV tires in the business. Mitchelin comes stock on Airstreams, I believe. I wish the Mitchelin came in the 15 inch size. Because I would replace my Goodyear's with a superior Mitchelin tire tomorrow. But no 15's. They do cost some coins though. But no more blow outs & no more tire problems.
One thing about Airstreams they always put on the best products, don't they?

Yea, your right. My bad. I thought that there was a 14 ply version available.
They need to step up & make one. I think they could sell a lot of them.
But for people who need just a 10 ply great choice.
