I haven't. I have a regular 20A circuit that I plug the trailer into, and it runs everything I need and keeps the batteries topped off. My 50A circuit is used for car charging.

I had a 30 amp on side of garage with old TT. Now with the 5th wheel we have to park it next to the house so I wired a 50 amp service from the basement to the side of the house. I also use it to backfeed the generator to the house during power outages, DW also like to have AC on during prep for our outings. Leave it plugged in all summer when not out camping.

Added a 50 amp box 6 feet from where I store the trailer. Was intimidated at first but folks from this group helped a ton.

I just had a 30 AMP Outlet put on the outside of my garage for my new 17MKE. Makes things easy.

I added a 50 amp last year. Love having it. Can run the a/c's if it's hot and I'm working in the trailer or getting ready for a trip. Luckily, (oops I mean by design, 😁 the back of my workshop is just the right distance from the spot I created for the trailer to live.

I bought a SmartstartRV for both AC’s so on a standard 15 amp circuit I can run my 15/k AC and my frig when either setting up or cleaning the interior to have AC in the hot & muggy seasons. That was also a less expensive option that will assist both my AC’s running smoother/easier while extending their life.
I have a shop with 50A, 40A, 20A & 15A breakers/outlets already but running a 50 amp cable to the front of it plus outlets, etc., was going to cost more anyway.

50A + 25’ extension + 50A-to-two 30A splitter
Got a 25’ 50A extension cable and a 30A splitter which allows me to power 2 RVs at 30A in the backyard. Also, extended a pvc line and spicket for water. With a macerator pump and a heavy duty water hose, I’m able to empty grey and black tanks into the house sewer port. This setup is great for overnight visiting guests.

We use ours all the time. Our rig only spends a short time at home, but it allows much comfort in loading, unloading, and for indoor and even outdoor projects. Now, if I just had a dump station. . . . . .

I want to add a 50 amp outlet to the outside of my garage. I’m not going mess with electricity and got a quote. To run wires up into the enclosed attic, across the garage, down the other side and through the wall and to an outlet came to about $600. Just curious if this sounds reasonable for a certified electrician. Thanks.
