I put in the 50A about 5 years ago with our first 5th wheel. It wasn't in the most convenient spot so I didn't use it much... But in the summer when you need both AC's it's nice to have.

Then we sold the house and went full time, but that's a different story 😁

$600 sounds in the ballpark for that work.

Installed 50 amp a couple of years ago. Could have used a 110v cord to charge batteries but 50 map allows us to use both airconditioners when loading or unloading. Also, from time to time we have to many house guests and the 5th wheel acts as the spare condo. Something also installed was a RV dump for gray/black tank disposal. Makes it easier to do tank maintenance as well.

Thank you! We store the camper at my in-laws lake home and would like to stay in and use the air conditioning this summer. It will be worth it.

Haven't done it yet, but just picked up some 10/3 teck cable to put in a trailer plug along side the garage.

When you consider the cost of the materials it is reasonable. I got a very similar quote for doing our storage location in Southern WI. About 90' run overall.

Yes. That's reasonable for a licensed electrician and parts at least out here in Phoenix. I had several bids to do a similar job and they were both considerably higher.

yes that sounds reasonable, the cost of materials is a lot of it. we have a full hook up here and use it a lot. It's great to have it as we keep air on for loading and unloading, come home form boondocking and just flush and fill here, all the comforts of home too when we remodeled, just stayed in the fifth wheel while we did our thing.

🙂 I poured 70' extra driveway along side of our home, had sewer clean out brought over to accommodate flushing and cleaning and the 50 Amp RV plug. I love having it all right here.
