    Faucet Drips

On my shower faucet where the shower head hose attaches, there is a pin hole (where the arrow is) on the underside of that connection. It looks like it's supposed to be there and it drips when the faucet hot or cold is turned on but doesn't drip if they are shut off. Any idea why it's designed this way? I didn't have this on any of my previous RV's.

It's vital to the proper operation of the vacuum breaker. Little surprised to hear your prior RV shower faucets didn't have it as it's been around probably 20 years or better after the industry figured out the water in the shower wand hose wouldn't allow air admittance.

My other RV's had the regular faucets and they had tubs with the pull up knob for the shower head. This RV is strictly a shower so only has the shower head. Thanks for the reply.
