    AC Ducts blocked??

First time out with our 2250RK. We are in Yuma, 97 degrees. Hooked up and turned on AC. Cool air out of the AC and the kitchen vent, but no air going forward to the bath and bedroom. I'm assuming some sort of blockage to ducts going forward but did not want to begin taking off shroud before getting some insights.

Have any of you experienced this on 2250RK?

Your ducts are probably not properly taped to the registers and you are blowing cold air into the roof. You could also be leaking supply air into the return air chamber in the unit.

Don't know how much time you spend in the desert; we spend a lot of time camping in the Phoenix area. You would be most likely preducted and prewired for a 2nd AC unit in the bedroom, might look into that as you trouble shoot things. We were camping this weekend and really enjoyed two full sized 15k AC units.

Did some more research on Youtube. Discovered the baffle between the intake and exhaust was loose allowing most of the air to recycle without getting to all of the ducts. It seems that is a common problem. Doesn't speak very high of Grand Design quality control.
I understand they have installed a different baffle system since 2020.

I think he is stating he has a 2250RK. If so, it is not prepped for a second AC due to the small overall length of the unit. It isn't even wired for a fan....ask me how I know

What year is your 2250RK? They did start putting the air flow baffle mod in on newer units starting late last year.....if you have a 2021, you could call GD customer support and see if they will send you one....(assuming you have the Coleman Mach AC and not the Furrion).

I’m having the same problem with my 2021 2250RK. Can you elaborate on what you did to fix it? I’m handy but have no clue about air conditioning stuff. Thanks!

I've got a 15K unit sitting on my patio waiting to go in my 268BH. That will be 30K BTU of cooling in a fairly small 5th wheel. My condo doesn't have that much air conditioning. It only has 2 tons.
