    Collapsible Kitchen Island extension mod

Here's a quick mod I did for our Island counter top in our 308bhts. Used a cutting board and folding shelf brackets. Works great and very stable.

I may do one on the other end as well.

Nicely done! My wife and I have been discussing the same thing in a few spots if we ever get a 303 or 337. Seems like there is not enough counter space in any RVs we have looked at so far, but it's only needed while preparing meals. The drop-down tops look like they add so much versatility without encroaching on living space.

Nice. I have a smaller one left over from previous camper. Haven't felt I needed it but this would be a convenient place for it.

Looks nice. We've already put a towel rack there for the dish towels. And the other end of the island has outlet and a clock/temperature monitor (for fridge/freezer and outdoor temps) that we've mounted.

Very nice mod. My Imagine came with one of those extensions and was one of the factors that drew me to the 2600rb we bought.

What fasteners did you use to secure it to the island?

I used black 1" long #8 RV interior screws.
