Anyone figured out how to make reasonable use of the duplex plug that hides behind the bathroom slide door? When the door covers it (slid to the open position) there's less than .5" between it and the wall plate. Can't figure out why it's there.

After setup, I put a block in that keeps the door from opening over the outlet. It is where the wife plugs in her phone/tablet.
