Filling Fresh Water Tank While Boondocking?

    Hey all.

We have a Solitude on order. Can we use the water pump to siphon water from a container into the fresh water tank?

We have seen other brands that can do this. Model is a 380 FL.

Yes, just switch it to sanitize mode and it will use the water pump to fill the FW tank. You'll need to hook a hose to the city water inlet and the other end in your water source.

Yep you can do that. I carry one of those 5 gallon plastic "Jerry cans" just for that. With a short length of hose, you turn a couple of valves on the Nautilus (Pic is from older generation of Nautilus) and stick the hose in the water can, turn on the pump.

I was forced to do this last month. Using the Nautilus system to pump water from a 6gal jug worked, but it takes a pretty long time. I ended up putting 15 gallons in, just to flush the toilet and wash dishes and we took showers at the campground bath house....
