28BH Bunk bed dimensions?

Hi we are currently looking into purchasing a new 2022 grand design 28 BH. My concern is bunk bed room specifically the top bunk if it has enough width for a 7 year old and up. i would appreciate your feedback.

We previously had a 2018 28bh with the older style bunks and it worked great it unfortunately it was a write of in a fire and insurance is potentially going to replace it with a 2022 model. We have not been able to see a new model up close due to lack of trailers in Alberta so would appreciate your guys help thanks.

From what I can find searching the web, the top bunk is 34" wide and the bottom bunk is 48" wide. Perhaps someone who owns one will see this and measure for you to confirm this.

Sask-83, I can’t get to the trailer now, but I have a 8 yo girl that sleeps up top and a 4 yo boy that sleeps in the bottom. She has lots of room. I did install a guardrail that I made out of iron pipe to stop her from falling off. Which did happen twice before the guardrail. When I get a chance, I’ll get some measurements for you.
