    Awning lights

    Hello,

I have a brand new 377MBS and both of the awning lights are not working. Does anyone have a clue on where I can start looking for a problem. I don't want to drag it to a dealer for a week and wanted to see if someone may of have this same problem that i can fix. My main awning and the awning that comes out from the table side do not work with lights.

    Thank you,
    David

Not sure how your lights are setup, on the Momentums, the lights are in the awning tube and must be fully extended to see the light. If you are operating the lights correctly, and neither works, it could be a fuse somewhere. Im not familiar with the 377MBS, so i cant tell you where those fuses are located. I know on Momentums they use a lighting control module and the fuses are behind the false wall in the basement.

Pull the switch out from the panel and check for an inline fuse.

Have you located the switch for them? Our switch is in the electrical panel in the cabinet right near the door. The awnings go out separately with the bedroom awning switch in that same closet, and next to it is the light switch that puts both led lights on together. The wind sensor awning in the dining room is under the same cabinet. The switches are all over the place. We have a 376TH

Our lights recently went out on our awning, it was relatively easy to take them out. When I brought the light strip into the service center they said it was a fairly common thing for them to go out. :-(

Found the problem, It was the 2AMP fuse behind the panel. Now trying to find a 2AMP fuse is not easy. I can find 3AMP all day long. I just order some from Amazon.
    Thanks for the help.

Two things to think about now you have the lights working. Get yourself a dimmer for them to tame them down at night, your neighbors will appreciate it. If you ever decide you don't like bright white light think about replacing them with yellow LEDs. Bugs aren't attracted to the yellow light like they are to white light.

That sounds like a really good idea. Didn't know you could even put dimmers on leds. Is there a thread or info on how to do that?
