    Solitude in Montana

    Greetings to all!

    Yesterday, we took delivery our 2021 Grand Design Solitude S-class 3740BH! This is our first 5th wheel and first GD, but not our first travel trailer. We started out camping in tents, then a Coleman pop-up camper, a Dutchmen of some sort from a time long forgotten, 2018 Jayco White Hawk we bought new, and now the Solitude! Ill be using my yet to be delivered 2021 Ram 3500 (H.O.) Crew Cab long bed DRW to drag this monster around with. We are looking forward to learning lots from the folks on the forum, and of course the crazy full time adventures this rig will bring!

    Welcome from Brian and Laura at Flathead Lake Montana!

    FYI, you have 5th wheel now, Travel trailers are bumper hitch.

    We as well went from tents with toddlers, to travel trailer, to truck camper, to class C, to 5th wheel. Many memories made in between!

    Backpacker and tent camper all my life, including BSA as a kid and adult.
    Motorcycle trips across the USA with a tent - 1978 to Present.
    02-10-2005 - 2002 F350 SWD PSD and 2003 Citation 10'8S mostly for Crater Lake Ski Patrol.
    10-29-2015 - 2016 Grand Design 380TH. It's HUGE compared to a camper.
    10-19-2018 - traded truck for a 2016 Ram 3500 DRW Laramie CC 4 X 4 Long Box.

    We are LOVING this unit so far! We just spent 5 weeks in the 28' WhiteHawk, so the extra space is amazing. Now I just need my truck delivered so I can get the hitch ordered and installed.
