Where did you get the decorative metal that you used for the inserts? They look great, thinking of doing the same. Uncle Larry

Sorry for the slow response on this one. I ordered decorative metal sheets from Amazon, but they can be found at Home Depot and Lowes. I ended up painting and also used a satin clear coat.

We are interested in replacing the glass in the pantry door to get better airflow to food items on hot days. Naturally I want to remove the glass without tearing up the trim.

Are the trim pieces held on with double sided tape? Small staples?

I have a set of plastic trim removal tools and was going to use those to start prying a piece of trim off. Any suggestions/input would be greatly appreciated.

I had to partially disassemble the pantry door to slide the metal sheet in. It was pretty easy, just had to be careful. As far as the small cabinet door glass, super easy. The glass is held against the back of the doors with glue. I used a heat gun to soften the glue and carefully pry the glass out with various trim removal tools. I then cut the metal sheet to size then tacked and glued it in. Again, the pantry door was the most difficult (still, wasn't all that bad), cabinet doors are very easy.

When you mention disassembling the pantry door - did you use trim tools to gently loosen the trim around the glass? Did you work from the pantry side of the door or from the front side? Were your trim pieces glued on or stapled? Thanks in advance.

I removed the door and removed the top portion of the wood frame/surround holding the glass in. The glass is mounted differently in the pantry door, its inset (an insert) and cannot be removed like the glass in the cabinet doors. The glass (and decorative metal) panel slides in instead of being stapled/glued. So, remove the top portion (cap) of the pantry door really has to be removed before getting the glass out.
