    I have a Demco Recon which I like a lot. Although a little noisy compared to my previous hitch, a Curt. It breaks down to two easier to lift parts. I'd definitely recommend.

    I've got a Demco auto-slide Hijacker, 18k. I like it. I use it with a MorRyde pin box.

    Have a Hijacker Double Pivot Slider vintage 2015. Towed three different 5ers and have never had occasion to use the slider function. Either good planning or luck or both. Love the hitch and would buy another Demco if/when necessary. Really like the safety bar in front of the jaws to prevent "mistakes". Paired the hitch back then with their Glide Ride pin box which I believe they don't make anymore. Really good combo for a smooth ride without chucking. Transferred the pin box when I got the Reflection and am so glad I did.

    I had a Demco 18K Hijacker autoslide when I had the short-bed. It was built like a tank. One of the better jaw designs IMO with the locking bar - no question when it was locked up.
