Attic Vent Cap Missing
On the roof today patching a cracked skylight until I can get it replaced and noticed that the cap on the attic vent is missing. Could this have let in a lot of water during rain? Don't really know how long it's been gone, but I'm worried about potential damage in the attic. Haven't noticed any stains on the ceiling though. If anyone can comment on this I would appreciate it. Thanks.

It certainly could have gotten rain in through the open vent. I would get the cap replaced as soon as possible. Do a Goggle search for "RV Mushroom Cap.
