Reflection 150 260RD inside step light...

Anyone know how the inside step side light to the bedroom functions? I thought it was a motion light. It came on once at night with ceiling lights off. Can't find any reference in the manual. I saw a video that said it was a motion light on Youtube.

I don’t have the 150 Series, but there is a switch on my control panel (where the tank gauges and slide switches reside) labeled “step light”. I original thought it was for an outside step light, but it operates the small light right next to the steps going up to the bedroom/bathroom. Hope that helps.

You are 100% correct. The switch marked, step light, turns on the light by the inside steps to the bedroom.
The one marked , porch light, turns on the blue light under the outside entry steps.
Odd way to name them. Anyway, thanks for the help.

    Yep!,
Took me a while to figure it out. Turned on the step light switch, went outside and wondered why the light under the entrance stairs wasn't on!

I wish my 310 had a switch - the 310 are motion triggered and every night with the dog moves the light goes on - looking for a way to turn off the motion sensor....We dont have a switch.

Could you put a small piece of electrical tape over the sensor?

Wouldn't that force the light on?
