    Water heater question

I own a 2017 GD Imagine 2800 BH. The campground I have a permanent setup at opens tomorrow, but the owner has not turned on the water yet to the campground. My Imagine is still in the winterized state. My question has to do with the water heater which of course I do not want to use. I am located in Pennsylvania and it gets cold at night, so I will need to use the furnace which of course is gas and the thermostat to set heat level Now will this also turn on the water heater? Don't even want to do that because there is no water in it due to the unit being winterized. So is there a way to use gas just for the furnace? Or am I just out of luck till the campground owner turns on the water system to the campground. I think all I need to do to turn on the furnace is to use the thermostat panel in the bedroom. I believe the gas switch on the main control panel is for the water heater. Am I correct? Will I be able to use the stove? Really confused here and do not want to make a mistake.

    Thanks for reading and responding.

Water heater is its own separate appliance
It has a switch for gas and a switch for electric
Just leave them in the off position and you are good to go

Just don't turn on the gas or electric for the water heater. You can use everything else.

Hey Guys - thanks so much! I kinda figured that's what I needed to do, but wanted to make sure. Thanks again!

Mine also has a separate breaker on the main panel for the water heater. When I winterize, I turn it to the “off” position. A bit of added insurance after putting a piece of tape across the switch on the smaller control panel where the light and awning switches are located.
