    Low DC voltage

    I have 328 m up in the middle of no where with my grandkids, our dc system start, heater kicks everything off even control panel, works fine if on generator but the refrigerator fan , and hearter, water pump won’t work, all fuses are ok, generator charger at 13,4 v the batteries are Glass matt new last year. Ideas????? Bad invertor?

    Turn the generator off and if you have a multi-meter, take a reading at the batteries (without the genny running) and see what the voltage is at the pos. and neg terminals of the battery.....then get back to us.

    Sounds to me like the batteries are low.

    Are you totally off grid, except for the generator? How often do you charge the batteries?

    im totally off grid batts are Glass mat technology and with main switch off 12.38 volts, just started last night the refrigerator said low dc the the lights flashed heater went out. Ran generator 13.4 volts everything works fine, tried again same as about DC power no fuses blown, batteries are fine starts generator ?

    take your batteries to an auto parts store like NAPA and have them load tested to see if they are indeed good.

    Also try measuring the voltage at the fuse panel, with and without a load. It could be a bad connection somewhere between the battery and the panel

    12.38V is getting close to 50% state of charge on an AGM. You need to run the generator long enough to recharge it. Will take several hours at least.

    Before you do anything check that the battery disconnect switch is ON (cant pull key out) It might have gotten bumped.

    Found the problem, DC ground connected with 1 wood screw in aluminum very loose
    Almost to the point of falling off🤬 where is quality control 🤬
