Are these bubbles and wrinkles okay?

I went up in my roof last week so that I could sweep off any junk that was on my slide roofs before I brought them in and I surprised with what I saw. The roof had lots wrinkles and bubbles in it. We purchased a 2670KM last February and have only used it twice due to some issues that we've had. This is only my second travel trailer, so I'm no RV roof expert. Our old trailer (Transcend 26RLS) had a flat roof and it didn't have a bubble or a wrinkle in it, the roof was perfect. So I was shocked to see so many issues on the roof of my brand new Imagine 2670MK, but I don't know if they are normal or if I should worry about them. So I figured I'd ask the experts.

So below are some pics of my roof. Do these look okay? If not, I Should I contact my dealer? Are these all potential problems? I just don't know.

    Thanks!

To me they don't look good, and I would be unhappy if they were mine. But I'm pretty sure your dealer is going to tell you they're just fine and they'll likely disappear after a while. To me a roof should be smooth and tight.

Look, I agree that they are unsightly and would prefer a smooth roof. That being said, if the roof is watertight (and I can't see anywhere that would leak based on your photos), then I would be OK with that. On my last TT, the roof was flat until the membrane split resulting in catastrophic leaks. I'd keep a careful eye on the ridges, but as long as they don't get worse there doesn't appear to be much to worry about.

My roof is perfect. Not a wrinkle anywhere

I think when dealers saying it is normal is a cop out. Would it hurt anything maybe not but doesn’t make it right

At my PDI I observed & documented exactly this. Service manager said its ok. I put in a ticket with GD, they said same. To me the only one I would worry about are those on 5th wheels where the bubble is at the front cap strap. Wind, during transit, goes up thru the 5th wheel hitch and under cap. If that front cap strap is not secure, air will get under the top and rip it apart while driving.

Every trailer we've had, granted not that many, all have had roofs that were smooth and flat. To me, that is normal, and rippled and wrinkled are not. To me rippled and wrinkled indicate it isn't glued down fully. But it's pointless really to argue with the manufacturer unless it fails. Until then, it's just unsightly.

I agree with the comments made. Does it look right? No, but does it leak. You've sent the pictures to GD, and they said it's normal. Now, if ever you have an issue at those spots, you'll have something to go back to GD with.

I guess I should have said that as far as I know, the roof doesn't leak, but it sure is ugly!

    My 2020 29RS is similar.

The material seems to be more plastic than rubber. My older 5th wheel EPDM roof was flat and stuck to the wood roof. I suspect that the glue that they use is not as successful and therefore they have standards of what is acceptable or not.
