21BHE bed

Hello everyone. I just purchased a 2021 imagine xls 21bhe. We are looking to upgrade the bed, but noticed the bed has a fold in the front for the Murphy bed. Would we need a special made bed or does anyone have experience with a bed that works for this model?

I would imagine any foam based mattress with similar dimensions could work. We put a foam mattress topper on ours and are able to operate the Murphy bed just fine. It is a tight fit though!

Not much you can do unless you just leave the bed out all the time

Whatever you put there has to fold and a standard comfortable mattress won’t do this so…..

Either a thin topper,custom mattress (expensive) or inexpensive comfortable full mattress and leave bed made all the time
