    Unusual tire wear on rear

I tow a large 5th wheel, GD 348M gross weight 16500, truck is rated for max 17500. I noticed my rear tire wear on the outside edges. Checked tire pressure and it’s correct. I’m guilty of not rotating my tires since I bought this set of tires and only towed about 1500 miles on them. What could cause this unusual wear?

Is this on the tow vehicle or the trailer?

Sounds like another candidate for an axel alignment. Find a good shop and they will tell you exactly what is going on (bent axel, out of alignment, bearings - whatever.

It happens a lot on trailers. So don't feel alone.

I had rear tire wear on my 378MBS and Dexter replaced the rear axle. I could also tell that the trailer was not towing straight. After the axle replacement trailer tows straight so hopefully this fixed the tire wear issue as well.
