Hmmmm, interesting idea. I looked up the NRVIA website, and unfortunately the nearest certified inspector is 3 states away.
Heh, at least I know that there are no wet bolts in the XLS 22MLE suspension, so that's one thing I won't miss. (Plan to upgrade those at some point)

HI Dave...did you ever reach out to this company? Please be weary of their abilities. I paid them last year to do an inspection and it seemed to go well until I actually got it to a dealer who then said it need $10k plus of work done. When I signed the contract (May 2020), their corporation wasn't even real (I found out later - they registered it in Oct 2020) and they made me pay them in cash. Be very cautious in using them. I can send you all the info of my plight if you're so inclined. - Jon

Well, our XLS 22 MLE came in to the dealer yesterday after about a 31/2 month wait. We took a quick look - our Pom Skyler approves! Anyway, the dealer is down the tubes busy, so the prep and PDI will have to wait until May 4.
Do any GD veterans have any sage advice going into the PDI? I've already found a glitch in the cursory look yesterday - a missing black tank T-handle, nothing big I know.

Looking forward to out first trip in mid-May with our new TT!

    Hiya Jon,

I actually just found a pretty extensive PDI checklist online and did it myself. I was there 6 or 7 hours, but it was a great way to get to know my new trailer.

Everything looked great except for one issue: a bad grey tank valve that caused a small leak whenever there was any water in the grey tank. I didn't feel like taking a shower every time I removed the tank drain cap, so I had them replace it before I accept the rig.

The dealer got it into the shop today, and I should be able to pick it up in a day or two.
I recommend to anyone to do this inspection themselves (after the dealer's PDI walkthrough). Take your time, and it will be a great way to ensure that your new TT or MH has any issues, as well as allowing you to really become familiar with your new rig.

    Dave

Dave, Would you please share a link to that extensive PDI checklist?
