What do you do for a table/eating area since you do not use the dinette? When camping, we eat outside whenever possible, but what about inclement weather?

Good question. We also eat outside a lot, when we do not, we use bamboo lap trays and cushions and sit on the bed. (Not for everyone, but works for us right now).

There is plenty of room for something like this with the slide open - but we also value the option to get to the restroom / etc. when the slide is closed - so we are still evaluating this sort of thing.
