    New 5th Wheeler :)

Hi! Glad to be part of this site as I have been a travel trailer owner for decades and just stepped up to a Momentum 353g on Friday 04/23 and took our first trip this weekend. Oh my 5th wheels are very different IMO! Anyway my name is Kevin, my wife and I have 6 kids and needed some extra room. We love this 5th wheel and bought for the quality of the manufacture as we looked at a ton and this stood out above this crowd. We use the 11ft toy area as a large bunkhouse that we are planning on customizing for kid living, the added 1/2 bath is pretty awesome! Then when the kids leave as they grow we can then use as intended with toys . The first trip was pretty flawless except we noticed there is a slow leak behind the service panel when hooked to city water, no leak when using the tank. Weird. I think I'm going to remove the panel between the service panel and cargo bay and see what's up. Hoping it's just a loose fit behind the panel. It would sure beat a 3 hour ride to the dealership and being out the next 2 camping trips while they find time to look at it. Anyway glad to be here!

Welcome to the family! Now you can create a signature block with your RV and tow vehicle information (see mine below). That way you won't have to repeat that information whenever you post or ask a question. You can create a signature by going to:

Forum Actions (on menu bar) -> Edit Profile -> Edit Signature (under My Settings on the left)

Leaks behind the Nautilus panel are, unfortunately, not uncommon - I'm dealing with one right now related to the black tank flush inlet. It's important to resolve the issue quickly as water in the basement can do a lot of damage.

    Happy camping!
