Rear camera
We have a Imagine xls 22 eve on order. I would like a rear view camera,
but do not want to pay the dealer $780.00. Any suggestions for a camera would be appreciated.

We have the Furrion and like it a lot. It is one of the most expensive system out there though. The built in microphone in the system saves a lot of yelling when getting into the site to set up. There are a lot of people who use the Haloview system, which is less expensive. I believe it also has audio.

We just got our Furrion recently and have been very pleased. I didn't like the price but the ease of installation was 5 minutes!

I bought one of the Chinese systems available on Amazon that was about $240.00. It came with everything necessary to connect to the Furrion mount. The installation was a snap and the picture is HD and very clear. No wifi connection problems and a strong signal.

We also got a Chinese model at half the price of the Furrion and sure glad. I thought the rear view camera would have been more useful then it actually is.

I find it very useful especially when on interstates. It helps to know when a car might be close if your going to move out to pass, or be passed. It also helps to know when to move back to the right lane. Interstate travel can be stressful in heavy traffic, like Richmond VA. I find the camera makes it more bearable. I tend to get a little stressed in heavy traffic.

We had a Haloview on our previous rig. It did pretty well with a 7” monitor. But set up was a pain. I pulled it off the rig before we sold it. We will probably go with the VisionWorks camera system on the new rig. VisionWorks is supposed to be releasing the side marker cameras soon. Hoping that full system will help my wife gain confidence in both towing and backing, with emphasis on towing while using it as an observation camera.
