My 310GK Says thin shade ready I am assuming all I have to buy is the shade. Has anyone else looked at the thin shade?

I know you posted this a long time ago and may have already done something about it. When I was investigating the Thin Shade for our new rig, my wife read on the FB GD groups that the Thin Shade is "always falling out" and is flimsy. I think we've decided against it.

We saw one on display at a dealership last week. My wife touched it and it fell out of tracks. She spent 10 minutes trying to re-install it. Looked okay until she let go. Then it fell down again. We thought maybe because 500 other people had been examining it, but based upon your post, maybe not.

I installed a thin shade on our new 337 a month or so ago. No pronlems with it and wouldn't go back. Works as advertised.

They like to fall apart during install, kind of a pain for me to keep everything together until a couple screws were in locking the 2 pieces together. Once the outside and inside are attached together, the slider is captured in the track. We had 2 in the SOB camper, and now have one in the Imagine, and all worked as expected. Very happy with the product.
The install in the Imagine was a bit confusing at first, finally found information on the popsicle stick trick to get the factory window out.2019 2970RL

Basically my question was regarding a sticker on ours that said “thin shade ready” does that mean all I need is the shade?

There are 2 slim shade part numbers. One is +/- $100 and for a standard door, and the other is +/- $50 and is for the "slim shade ready" door. It appears to be just the "inside" part.
Here is the one for regular door. https://www.amazon.com/AP-Products-0.../dp/B01MRRNQNP
Here is the one for "ready" door. https://www.amazon.com/Lippert-Compo...omotive&sr=1-22019 2970RL

Just ordered the slim shade. Just wondering if you had any trouble getting factory window out? Dealership told me about a tool to release clips behind black plastic trim.
