    Spare Leaf Spring

    I have a 2020 Reflection 337RLS.
How many of you carry a spare leaf spring? I am planning to carry one but not sure what size. The attached photo is what it is on my axle. I am guessing I have Dexter axle and leaf springs and capacity is 6000 lbs. Does this mean the leaf springs are 3000 lbs. each? The distance between the eye bolts on the leaf spring is 26" my trailer. Would it be safe to say I should get a 26" double eye 3000 lbs. leaf spring-5?

I carry one. Got it from a RV tech/friend. Sorry I can't help you identify yours.

Standard Dexter D60 axle. You have the 5-leaf spring. If you want an exact OE spare call Dexter with you S/N and they will tell you their P/N. You can also just have a generic spare of same dimensions. I carry a spare.

Same here. I carry a spare spring, bolts, shackles, equalizer, u-bolts, 10 ton jack, and all of the tools needed to change any of that junk (and it *is* junk).
    I don't carry a welder or hangers - yet.

We had our hangers all reinforced by a trailer manufacturing company after we returned from our Alaska trip (where one of the hangers broke and we had to it have it welded in Whitehorse.

I carry a case/ kit I made, with 2 springs, Equaflex equalizers, bushings, wet bolts, u bolts, shackles, hangers and some steel. It is about 100 lbs of peace of mind.
This, along with my tools and more spare parts for the trailer, as well as essentials for the truck.

    Excellent call.
I broke 2 hangers on my previous toy hauler before learning about hanger reinforcements.
I was really glad to see that my new 349M already came with reinforced hangers.

    Very wise indeed.
I just finished putting an onboard air compressor in my truck. You got me thinking that I should review my toolbox contents now that I have access to air.

Well, when we took our rig in for the reinforcement work, they found there was another hanger cracked, making 2 that were damaged on our trip

I am planning to carry one but not sure what size.
I sent an email to Dexter with the serial number of my axle and they sent me a spec sheet with every detail part on the axle/suspension listed (bearings, hubs, seals, etc.). Should be very useful for a cross reference for spare parts.
