    Cabinet corner protection

Our first trip in our Reflection was a week long. After only a week I was noticing rubbing and wearing on some of the cabinet corners, mostly near the entry door. I purchased some inexpensive corner covers from Amazon. I installed them using small nails typical of attaching paneling instead of the large silver nails included. I’m willing to sacrifice a couple tiny nail holes to protect the rather thin laminate finish on the cabinets.

Great idea, the "faux finish" rubs off fairly easy at the edges.

I have had the un-opportunity to damage the lower corner of the entertainment cabinet in the GD 2600RB. I found that corner edge moulding protector from Home Depot works quite well. It comes in 8ft lengths. I has a two sided tape on both sides of the moulding designed to adhere on the corner. It is opaque and almost clear. Works well. To remove, carefully use a sharp putty knife and work both sides. Clean up with isopropanol (isopropyl alcohol).

If you are concerned about the glue used....you could remove the glue with some isopropyl alcohol mixed in with a bit of acetone and then buy yourself a package of 3M command strips and use those to glue the piece on the corner.
