Has there been a recall yet?

when I ordered my BH2800, I didn't think I would be impressed with the oven...but I never dreamed I would get this

So I will repeat my question, has there been a recall? This is not a usable oven. It has to be a mistake.
The heat box for the flame is taller than the part you would bake in...the rack is in the lowest position and is only
3.75" from the top of the oven.

Lol! If only... This is situation normal for an RV oven. Crazy to think too in this day and age. Even the new Insignia is flawed. There's definitely reason why the high ends frequently get built with true residential ranges.

    We use the convection microwave,
We used the oven once just to be sure it worked. We added a pizza stone to th eoven to maintain an even heat.
Learn to use the convection oven, it works great.

My current Imagine, and my old Jayco, have/had the Atwood version of this. Has about 2 hands worth of space. Better, but it is still a terrible oven. Crawling on the floor to light the pilot in addition just means that its only use is to store pots and pans......

Only if there is a significant safety issue will there be a recall...although sometimes they will swap out items that a number of buyers find to be defective. I wouldn't count on it in this case, as it is not defective, just a terrible piece of equipment.

Gosh, in our over 40 years owning a number of campers/RVs, we never used the oven. Most like us just thought it was a fancy looking over priced bread and bun storage cabinet - lol !

It would be interesting to get feedback from these various RV oven manufacturers on what they actually design these little boxes to bake/cook. Maybe just a thin crust pizza or thin cookies......or maybe nothing.......it just looks cool (kinda) !

At first I thought it must be a mistake too, but then I found this on Amazon. Seems to be the way they are made. Ridiculous, might as well leave it out and put more storage in. https://www.amazon.com/Furrion-Stain...9721013&sr=8-1

I can bake bread in my 303 oven, but have no broiler. Yours seems like you could broil in it?

Our previous camper, a Sunny Brook, our oven was at least twice that size. Big enough to where I could bake a smaller ham in a smaller roaster. In our Imagine 2970 RL, if we didn't have the storage drawer below the oven they could have put in a larger oven.

The six cubic foot fridge is a joke too in my opinion.

That’s bizarre to say the least. Can’t believe they let that go through a quality check at Furrion. Or maybe they don’t have a quality check at the factory. Very sad.

It's not really an issue of quality, it's just how small they make the oven. But, I would imagine a vast majority of people never use the oven in their camper.

I believe the RV industry is trying to phase out actual ovens and head us toward the convection ovens.
