If you had a DC ammeter you could check for current. Depends on what the wire feeds and if something is using power. For instance if it feeds a lighting circuit then turn on some lights to see current draw. But if it feeds something like a slide motor you would have actuate the slide. Not the best method, but maybe you will get lucky.
Unfortunately, non-contact voltage checkers only work on AC.

Thanks, that's what I did to narrow it down to a purple pair. I then ran a ground wire to the fuse panel and used a light up probe to verify hot. It's the awning circuit per the fuse panel, so only gets used once in a while. Should be good for a 3W led light. I'm thinking of using small gage wire since it's only 3W...

Update:
Ran the wire I will need but noted 2 things;
1. when I pulled the 15A fuse, a little red led lit up next the slot. kind of neat
2. also, the step light lit up and could not be switched off, so it must tell you a fuse popped?
Just need some parts to arrive tomorrow to finish this little project.Dan and Rita

You're right, a 3W light is barely any load.
The Red LED for the fuse does light up when pull / blow the fuse and there's still a device trying to draw power.
Each RV can be wired different.
My Awing fuse powers several things:
The step light coming on may be a wiring quirk.
The wires usually daisy chain thru several switches in the monitor/switch panel.
Sounds a bit like another TT I read about last year where:
Battery disconnect turned off, Awning and Step lights come on.
Battery switch turned on, switches turn lights on and off.
A few wires were crossed somewhere at the trailer's frame mounted circuit breakers.- Gene

Did your rig come with the Lippert TPMS plug-in baseplate already installed? It's nothing more than a cheap plastic piece that has power connected. That's a hot 12v line, directly from the battery. Stays on even when the disconnect is pulled, so it might not be fused... I might want to check that, on second thought!
In our Solitude, it was just below the main battery disconnect. I pulled the Lippert piece and installed a different (much better) TPMS repeater and a push button switch so it's not on while the rig is in storage.Colin & Tracy

It did not. I needed a 12v lead near the stove and that bundle is pretty close...
