Tapatalk app works with this forum and makes adding photos easy.

As for the cracks... it's cosmetic, no? The nose is there to help deflect wind and look nice. As long as it isn't a leak risk, I'd leave it be.

The flexing won't stop. Paint over the cracks, they'll likely re-appear in the same places.

A wrap would be an interesting alternative and offer some give... and you could take out the factkry branding & replace it with something personal or meaningful.

Need a macro view from about a foot back, but looks like a stress crack to me. Looks like something got flexed.

Hi, I just came across two spider cracks when washing my cap. They're about a foot apart and fairly high up on the cap, above the Reflection decal. Click image for larger version.

ID:	34382. One is about 2 inches in diameter, the other a bit bigger. Hopefully the photos uploaded.
So is the consensus these are just caused by road travel stress? They're high enough up that you can't really see them so I was not going to do anything at this time but will they get larger if I don't do anything?

They look like impact cracks to me. I had some fine cracks in my Momentums cap. They were different though. They came from the edge, and did not radiate out from a center point like yours. It was repaired under warranty.

The way the cracks radiate from the center, that looks like an impact.

Stress cracks are irregular and most of the time will run in a somewhat parallel pattern.

That looks not like an impact but, kind of a push type crack. I can honestly see were the supplier denied the claim.

I initially thought impact but I'm trying to figure out from what. As I said these are well up on the cap. There is no paint chip or dent. I figure there would be some sort of other damage if I hit a tree branch. So maybe road debris or something like that.
