Power Cord
We just got our new 29 RS on Friday. I like the camper very much, good construction and no major issues. I am considering buying a 30 amp power cable. I know it will limit my electrical usage but I don't want to deal with the heavy 50 amp cord that is difficult to use for one night stands. I don't anticipate using the AC much as we will probably camp in higher elevations and later in the season. Does anyone have an idea of the length of the provided cord? I have the camper stored and don't have access to measure it right now. Thanks

You will need a Furrion 50 amp twist lock to 30 amp male adapter . . . but, this works.

Buy a 50' 30 amp cord, you will be happier in the end.

I bought a 15' 50amp extention cord. That, with the original 30'er is all I've ever needed anywhere.

Start with the simple stuff first. Is the fridge set to "Auto" ? If not, make sure it is set to use Electric (or Auto) and not Gas only. Does the light come on when you open the door? If not, probably would check fuses or breakers next.
If light does come on when you open the door, is the freezer cold?

The Frig is set to auto, the panel light is on and the light in the frig does some on but the freezer is not cold at all, either is the frig. We have checked the fuses and all look ok. We are just at a loss as to why it is not working. We left the plant for some minor repairs and came straight here and plugged it up while visiting family, everything in freezer was thawed and now not working??
