If you are looking at the RAM's, you can go to this web site: https://www.ramtrucks.com/towing/towing-guide.html and click the "look up my vehicle". Put the VIN of the truck you are looking at, and it will give you the actual payload of that specific truck when it rolled off the assembly line. Most salesman do not know that trucks don't have the payload of the fictional truck in the brochure.
