Wheel Well Fabric/Water barrier above the tires

My confidence in Grand Design has been restored. I purchased 1/8" neoprene sheets to line the area above my tires. When actually began the install and opened the slide, I found an existing layer of neoprene between the fabric and the floor. Why it isn't the out most layer is a question but it is clear and obvious when the slide was opened. I guess I'll use the sheets of neoprene as skid plates in the basement to keep things from sliding around.
