    Recliner lights

My wife decided she wants the lights for the seats( heat, vibrate, lights) unplugged. They plug into a recep behind one of the recliners. Can I pull the recliner out to unplug them or are they secured to the floor? I might be able to take long stick maybe broom handle and unplug them.
    TIA

The recliners should be anchored/screwed to the floor and will not move. I laid down next to them and reached back to unplug mine. A yard stick or something should work as well.

Everything related to the recliners runs off the same 120VAC->DC power supply. I unplugged the the DC connector to the lights and vibrators so that the recliners and heaters still work. I did this while I hand them unscrewed from the floor to remove the center armrest/drink holder.

If you reach over the back while reclined you should be able to reach the plug.

I liked this solution that someone else posted on another thread.

FYI, if you unplug the AC the chairs won’t recline. The heat, lights and massage all separately plug into a harness under/behind the chair. I’ve had to replace both the heat and lights in one of mine. Here’s a picture of the connector for them:

The chairs are secured to the floor but only by two #8 Robertson screws, one in each front corner of the frame. Recline the chair to gain access, then tilt the chair on its front.
