I had a DSI light caused by the water heater temperature sensor not being properly seated against the side of the tank. Check out the thermostat under the thin piece of grey foam to make sure it is properly installed and contacting the side of the tank.

Just curious how did cleaning the flame sensor work? I have the same trailer and blew the thermal shutoff today. Bypass working- I have a few thermals on order (it seems more common than I would like). Hoping not to repeat your experience. I was a little concerned about how the wiring ran just below the vent for hot air, my wires were toasty, not melted but not far off. I added some heat shielding. I am not an electrician or plumber- nor do I claim to be bright, but that was "No Bueno" in my book.
Thanks and I actually hope your issue is resolved.

It didn’t work, they said it’s the igniter. Now the hard part... finding one. No one has one in lower Arizona I move around to much to risk ordering off eBay which is the only place I saw one. Heading up to Colorado soon I’ll see what they might have.
