Hot water heater issues
Hello, I have a 2021 2600rb which had a thermo fuse blown. I direct wired it and the gas worked fine. Ordered new thermo fuses and when I replaced it, it would lite but not stay on. It would try 3 times lite then go off, then the dsi fault would go on. Any ideas? Thxs

Low propane, propane tank excess flow valve tripped, propane lines need bleeding, flame sensor out of position or bad, flame out of adjustment or dirty orifice are a few ideas to check.

When I by pass the thermo fuse it works, so any propane feed issues or dirty orafice would not be the case.

Yes Wayne, it does work when on electrical. Cycles on off 3 times on gas then defaults. Thxs

I will try cleaning up but this is a brand new TT HW heater only has a few hours on it. Maybe a defective thermo fuse. I bought two of them, I’ll try the other also. Thxs

Just curious how did cleaning the flame sensor work? I have the same trailer and blew the thermal shutoff today. Bypass working- I have a few thermals on order (it seems more common than I would like). Hoping not to repeat your experience. I was a little concerned about how the wiring ran just below the vent for hot air, my wires were toasty, not melted but not far off. I added some heat shielding. I am not an electrician or plumber- nor do I claim to be bright, but that was "No Bueno" in my book.
Thanks and I actually hope your issue is resolved.Ex-Nihilo
