Power Cord
How long is the standard 50 amp power cord on the 337? I have 2 30 amp extension cords-are these usable with the 50 amp setup?
Thank you.

I would not use 30 amp extensions on a 50 amp setup. The wire gauge in the 30 amp cords will be smaller than that in the 50 amp cord. You would also have to use an adapter and plug into the 30 amp outlet at the site. Resistance is a function of wire gauge and run length and resistance plus current equals heat. You run the risk of a melt-down or a fire - especially if you were to rig it that way and run a bunch of appliances (2 ACs, microwave, etc) and the same time.

There seem to be two threads with this same name . . . one in the Solitude section and one in the Reflection section.
As long as you plug into the 30 amp post receptacle and adapt to the 50 amp at the trailer, you will not overload the 30 amp cord. The cord is protected by the post breaker, but the trailer is limited to 30 amps (or less . . . If you have a really long cord). Plugging a 30A 120V cord into a 50A 240V receptacle is not possible.
See this other thread for the 30A cord to 50A trailer connection adapter that you need.

Thanks Rob for the clarification, I was getting a little confused. We have been to several smaller, older campgrounds that only have 30 amp service so the 50 amp cord is an overkill. I planned to buy the cord with the 50 amp female and 30 amp male for those times. I only have one AC unit but I know you can overload a 30 amp without an AC on! Thanks for the information.
