How to manually put slide in. Xls 22 rbe

In reading the manual on how to put the slide in manually. It says there is a hole in the side of the tt opposite from the slide to insert wrench to crank slide in. My tt does not have this hole. So my question is how do you put the slide in manually?

If you have a rack and pinion slide there should be a turn bolt on the opposite side across from the slide. It should be just slightly sticking out of the frame possibly above the tire. Your crank handle for your levelers will fit that turn bolt and allow you to operate the slide manually.

The manual has generic info for all imagines

Your trailer has a Schwintek slide system so no crank hole

You would disconnect the slide motors from the module and manual push slide in or out then reattach wires to module to lock it

Your module is likely under your sink in your bathroom if you haven’t located it yet

As previously mentioned, the GD manual is pretty generic. You most likely have the Schwintek system. If you have 2 rails on each side of the slide its schwintek. There's a few good videos on YouTube on how to maintain, fix, resync, what to do if your stuck and how to disconnect and replace the motors...

Located module on floor underneath bottom drawer by stove. Called GD customer service, also the entry door outside latch broke. Customer service to mail a new one. Impressed with GD service only waited about 1 minute on hold before talkin with rep.
