Charging issues.
I purchased a new Reflection Grand design 367 BHS in mid March. It sat unconnected to power in my pole barn for more than a month. Now I am prepping for our first trip and it has been connected to power for a week. My issue is that the battery is not charging up. I would think the converter should charge the battery over that time frame. I am using a fairly long cable to my unit. I have checked to make sure the battery connect is on, the converter breaker is on and the converter fuse is ok. Any thoughts or suggestions on this issue is appreciated
Thanks Very much

It's very possible that the parasitic drain on your battery killed it. Write a few of us have installed a kill switch (or just disconnect the battery) inside the front compartment, right after the battery(ies), to kill everything in the coach. Most lead acid and AGM batteries do not do well when taken below 80% of the battery capacity.

Any chance the battery froze while it was dead? Do you have lights when the converter is on? Is there AC power in the rig for things like the TV? Do you hear the fan on the converter running?

I do have lights and other items like TV work. I haven’t heard the converter fan running. The dealer suggested hooking up to my trucks power system and allowing the truck to run and charge the battery. Hopefully that is not something that will need to be done often.
Thanks for the suggestion on the battery disconnect for the future and the other suggestions.

Next step is to measure the voltage on the battery terminals with converter on and off.
