    Pull Down Blackout Shade Issue

Does anyone know how to adjust the pull down black out shades GD puts in their RV's? They go up very slowly and then stop about 2/3 of the way up and I have to hold the bottom of the shade up so there is no weight at all on the shade. They then will continue the rest of the way up but it's very frustrating, that I have to work at it to get them up every time. I've tried turning the adjustment wheel both directions and nothing helps. I've done this to every one of my shades and I get the same result. Thanks in advance for any advice I get.

There should be a roller wheel on each side of the shade. One is for speed, one is for how far it retracts. Its trial and error for figuring out the right settings.

That's how my 399 shades were anyway, I havent really checked out my 311 shades.

I've tried the wheel. There's no change. Not in how far it retracts or the speed. I'm stumped.

Contact GD customer service, there may be something you haven't tried that can help. Not likely a defect if it is alll the shades.
Did they come with any documentation ? maybe there is a trouble shooting area in there than can help.

2 of ours gave me a hard time at first but I managed to get them right. It was a little PITA though.

Roll the bottom of the shade over the top.

Unfortunately they didn't come with any documentation. I don't even know for sure what brand they are. Just that they are darkening shades and brown in color.

I don't know what you mean. Are you saying to do that just to get them up or will that fix the issue?

To try to shorten the blind so they will roll up faster/harder.
