Just an FYI... Lippert Solid Stance now available.
For anyone that has the standard 2 or 3 step entrance stairs that have experienced the rocking/sagging of the stairs when stepping on them... Lippert has finally released their aftermarket Solid Stance product. I received mine today and will me installing it this week.
Their website has a video tutorial for installation as well as a video explaining what the brace does.

At only $39.95 it will quite possibly be one of the cheapest mods I've done!
Just wanted to let folks without the Solid Steps know we now have a solution to the rocking/rolling step issues.Last edited by DaTraveler; 05-07-2021 at 10:57 PM.

My only concern is if having the feet on solid ground means the legs are in-between one of the locking pin notches. Then you either still have a little bounce or you have a slightly elevated step that is no longer level. Maybe not a big deal but I'd like to see them deployed under those circumstances.

Look like a PITA if you boondock a lot. You'd always need to stick a piece of wood under the legs. Just more stuff to pack. Plus no one walks down the center of steps. I would think you'd still get flex since you're stepping off center when walking up or down the step. Would've been better if Lippert put the hinge points at the outer edges vs the center. Better than nothing though.

So won't the step still bounce on 1st 2 steps leaving the rv? It looks to attach to the front of the bottom step, that pivots.

I watched a video of a similar Camco product and the reviewer said just using Camco leveling blocks or Lynx Levelers under the step do just as good of a job and there's no drilling and no parts to rust so if those are available that's another option.
