Jensen stereo USB input

I carry a 2TB USB portable hard drive that contains my music and video library for when WIFI/Cell is unavailable. When I connect it to the Jensen it displays Loading then after a few minutes displays Stop or Stopped ( can't remember for sure} and will do nothing until the drive is unplugged. I tried it with a smaller thumb drive and it worked fine. As the portable drive works fine elsewhere I'm thinking the Jensen can't handle a drive of that size. Can anyone confirm what the maximum size the Jensen can use?

If the 2 TB drive has a power input try powering it that way. Sometimes the USB doesn't supply enough power for spinning drives. That could explain why the thumb drive worked and the 2 TB spinning drive won't.

Furrion tech support claims theirs won't handle anything more than a 16GB drive. Older systems often can't handle the latest tech.

As @RickLight said, most of these units won't support a drive (usually a memory stick/thumb drive) larger than 16GB). The manual for a Jensen unit states that the USB port supplies 1 amp of power, so that's probably not the issue.
