349m Roof Weight Limit
ok - I'm fat. What is the capacity of the ladder and roof on a 349m?

As stated, 300 lbs. for the ladder. If you're concerned about the sheathing on the roof, you can put a couple of 6' pieces of 1 x 8 up there and shuffle them ahead of you as you walk. That will distribute your weight over a wider area than just your footprint.

I also try to walk as much as possible on the roof trusses.

I just took delivery of my 320G, and the ladder has a sticker saying the weight limit is 250 lbs.

I have a 28G Momentum, I would imagine the roof capacity is similar if not better on yours. I weigh 255# and walk on mine with no issues. Concerning the ladder, I have used mine with no issue but prefer when possible to use a normal ladder.

Thank you for the responses. Unless I have to I'm going to not venture up on the roof. I've got 2 teenage boys that are more spry then me.
However, I am trying to lose some of that extra baggage and someday make it up there.2021 Grand Design Momentum 349m-r

I have managed to collapse an rv ladder before... The rungs are held by plastic inserts and what appear to be similar to drywall screws.. I was lucky i wasnt near the top and was able to grab on. I was also a lot younger at the time too. I was pushing 250 at the time.
I was able to fix the ladder, had to beg for spare parts at an rv body shop where they had a twisted busted old one in the trash as when I tried to get the plastic inserts they could only "sell" me a whole ladder at parts...
I have since taken to using a regular ladder to get up and down when at home. If we are out and about I send the "boss" us as she is half my size. We pnly go up if there is a problem or if we need to sweep leaves/needles off the slide out before running it in.
