Is it OK to walk on slide roof?

Working on a solar project and looking for a safer access than the ladder. I can set up my scaffolding to get easy walk on access to the slide roof, then I can step up on the main roof having a good hand hold all the way that the short ladder does not provide.
Thoughts?

I tried to search this, but I cant figure out how to search a string of words. Kept giving hits on individual words.

Structure wise, probably not an issue. I would be concerned about throwing it out of alignment, but that’s just me. I guess no different than sitting in a chair on the slide.

I can only report that I've seen lots of RV detailers walk/stand on a slide out while working on the roof, on occasion. Hopefully, they know what they're doing and it's not damaging anything.

Yeah, I agree. I am not good with heights to begin with. Getting on the slide roof just feels wrong. It might be fine, but I have never seen it done (not saying its never done, just I haven't seen it).

On my Reflection 320MKS, I have GINGERLY tiptoed on the living room slide. But near the edge, but right at the point where it meets the main coach body.

I was told, by the dealer, yes the entire roof and the slides, are walkable.

Walking on the slide roof is kinda like arguing with your DW about how she changed the furniture WHY DO IT

I was washing the roof when I did it. Not thinking that I should start by washing the front first; instead, like a bonehead, I started at the ladder. Oh well, lesson learned?
